Tony B. (Bacigalupo), project manager, coworking agitator, and NotanMBA contributor, recently suggested that we include some opposing views in the writing up part of our book project (Tony B is also writing part of the book!). Like most of his ideas, this is a capital one!!!
So the question starts like this: Those of us who are sold on independence and coworking have, for the most part, consumed the kool-aid straight down. We know how it feels to work and live independently, and we love it.
However, so that we represent all sides of the issue (i.e. working independently) in the book (tentatively called Manage This! How Independent Entrepreneurs and Coworking Communities are Changing the Way we Work), we now want to know why you think independent employment sucks?
What are all the reasons we should dust off that cv and head back to the gates of BigCo and ask for a second chance?
Make us change our minds! Tell us why we are wrong!
