Some time ago we sent out queries to several coworking spaces to see if there were any folks out there interested in sharing their stories–how they came to coworking and what it means to them–with a larger audience. Our first installment of Your Story is our agenda for today.

Susan Evans and Jacob Sayles, Co-Founders (and Co-Janitors) of the hot new coworking space in Seattle–Office Nomads–have kindly written up their tales of how they’ve journeyed into coworking-land. Office Nomads has been featured in the business press many times in the past half year, and you can read about that coverage here, here, here, here, and here.

Their stories are not only well-written and fascinating to read, they embody many of the themes that constitute coworking and that unite many of us in our efforts to define balance in our work and lives. Thanks Susan and Jacob!

Today we will publish Susan’s story in Three Parts–one early this morning in just a few minutes, another around mid-day, and one in the afternoon. Tomorrow we will run with Jacob’s story in the same way. This is something that we’d really like to do more of as time goes on, and if any of you want to do the same, you can go to Your Story to post yours.

Thanks All,

The Butcher
