It’s Monday morning and it’s quiet, but we’re here. The best part about writing about coworking is that we are working (coworking?) as we write about coworking.

I lived in San Francisco seven years ago. There was nothing like this then. I worked out of my apartment most of the time. When I wanted out I went to a coffee shop and used Kinko’s for Internet access.

We called ahead out of courtesy, but the fact is we showed up at the door at 10am this morning, laptops in hand, sat down, plugged in, and went to work. At Citizen Space, it costs nothing to drop in. I’m writing this there/here right now.

I’ll upload better pictures later, but for now, here’s one from my phone.

And one from Ritual Roasters earlier this morning.
