Our visit to Berkeley Coworking turned into a huge conversation.  It was the end of the day, the day’s work almost done…  So no harm, right?  It’s the opportunity to have these conversations that really drives home the need for coworking spaces.

Berkeley Coworking had the lowest concentration of technical types of any of the coworking places we visited on our coworking tour.  At least today, anyway.  Two writers (four if you include the two of us), one business strategist, and an M.D. (blogging not practicing).  That diversity really reflected their point-of-view regarding their space.  ‘Coworking is an undefined model.’  So rather than adapt or adopt what someone else is doing, give it time and try different things.  They clearly get the award for the most interesting after hours meetups—green architecture classes.
